For families looking for keepsake photography that captures authentic daily moments of connection, joy, love, chaos, beauty, mess & magic.
About Nat

Natalie is a documentary photographer with an eye for the unassuming beauty tucked inside everyday family life.
She photographs families as they are: in motion, in conversation, mid-laugh, mid-mess. She captures connection, love, joy, laughter, tenderness, sadness, big feelings, rupture, repair, and the rituals and rhythms of the day that you'll want to be reminded of when they're distant memories.
Rather than directing and posing, documentary photography is about witnessing. It's photojournalism of the every day.
Natalie's approach is grounded in trust, curiosity, and a deep respect for children’s autonomy. She has a strong, values-driven philosophy of respect when it comes to working with kids, and a particular affinity for young people who are neurodivergent, sensitive, or simply don’t respond well to being told to “smile for the camera.” The families she photographs often share her conscious, compassionate approach, and value authenticity over perfection.
Nat's work is inclusive and welcoming of all family structures and identities. LGBTQIA+ families, solo parents and chosen families, as well as all other forms of diversity, are seen and celebrated.
Based on Phillip Island, Nat works locally and travels beyond for the right clients.
When not taking photos, Nat tutors kids in care at various schools in the region, follows creative and interest-led sparks, and hangs out with her own children by the frog pond, munching mandarins.
